IAF Co-Founders Call on Armenian Ambassador to India

Co-Founders of Indo-Armenian Friendship NGO, President Mr Rananjay Anand and Vice President Mrs Ruzanna Ashughyan called on His Excellency Yuri Babakhanian, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Armenia to the Republic of India on Monday, 12 July 2021. The meeting took place at the Armenian Embassy in New Delhi.

H.E Babakhanyan was appointed as Armenia's ambassador to India earlier in March after his predecessor, H.E Armen Martirosyan completed his mission in New Delhi. However, owing to the widespread pandemic, H.E Yuri Babakhanian delivered credentials to President Shri Ram Nath Kovind on July 6 through a video-conference.

During the meeting, the Co-Founders of IAF congratulated Mr Babakhanian on the occasion of handing over his credentials and wished him a successful tenure in India. The sides also spoke on various aspects of Indo-Armenian relations, the potential of strengthening bilateral and economic ties and various geopolitical factors that can be used to the advantage of our nations.

IAF President also presented His Excellency with our organization's magazine, "IAF in Action: 10 Years Together" and briefed the Ambassador of the role our organization has played in the past decade, emphasizing the fact that we have a year-long program planned for our 10th Anniversary.

The sides also spoke about the continuation of the close cooperation between the Armenian Embassy and Indo-Armenian Friendship NGO. His Excellency was once again assured of our commitment to do everything within our means to assist him in his tenure.

Indo-Armenian Friendship NGO thanks His Excellency for the warm welcome and wishes him all the best in his tenure.

Long-live Indo-Armenian Friendship.
